Rhodebar
Autosexing breed created in Britain in the 1940s from Rhode Island Red and Barred Rock-derived barring, allowing chicks to be sexed at hatch by down color. Retains the RIR's laying ability in a barred-red package. Rare but regaining interest.
Keep it like a Rhode Island Red: hardy and unfussy in most climates, wet winters included. Maintain pure matings to preserve the autosexing trait.
