Red Sex-Link
A production cross with no breed standard. Chicks hatched from these birds will vary from their parents.
Commercial brown-egg hybrid sold under many trade names (ISA Brown, Golden Comet, Red Star and others), sexable at hatch by down color. The highest-output brown layer available, often topping 300 eggs the first year. Production drops sharply after two to three seasons.
Feed a quality layer ration and free-choice oyster shell, since this output strains calcium reserves. Expect reproductive trouble and a shorter life than heritage breeds. Plan on turning the flock over.

Sourced from NPIP state directories, matched by the stock codes each participant registers. A flock may keep breeds beyond what it registers, so this list runs conservative.
