Nankin
One of the oldest true bantams, a chestnut-buff bird once standard equipment on English farms for hatching game bird and hen eggs. Nearly extinct by the 20th century, now a conservation breed. Comes in single and rose comb forms.
Prized as a broody; a trio can hatch a season's worth of eggs. Small and cold-sensitive, so provide snug dry housing through wet winters.
