Marsh Daisy
Lancashire breed named for its rose comb's resemblance to a marsh daisy flower, developed around 1900 with Old English Game, Malay, and Hamburg blood. Bred to thrive on wet marshland pasture. Critically rare.
Its marshland heritage means wet ground bothers it less than most breeds. It ranges thriftily and needs little supplemental feed in season.
