Freedom Ranger™
A production cross with no breed standard. Chicks hatched from these birds will vary from their parents.
A pastured meat hybrid bred from French Label Rouge broiler lines. Red-feathered birds that reach five to six pounds in nine to eleven weeks on range. They walk, scratch, and forage the way a broiler yard bird should, and the meat carries more flavor than fast confinement birds.
Slower than a Cornish Cross on purpose. Rotate them across pasture and they harvest a share of their own feed. Legs and hearts hold up at normal growth rates. Butcher by twelve weeks for the best carcass.
