Faverolles
French breed with a beard, muffs, feathered feet, and five toes. In the Salmon variety males and females color differently by a few weeks old, which comes close to autosexing. The breed was built for the Paris table market. They are sweet birds and usually land at the bottom of the pecking order.
Feathered feet and fluffy beards collect mud in a wet winter, so keep the runs dry. House them away from pushy breeds; Faverolles get bullied.
