Cream Legbar
Autosexing British breed developed at Cambridge from Leghorn, Barred Rock, and Araucana stock. Chicks can be sexed at hatch by down color. The cream variety carries a small crest and lays blue eggs; Gold and Silver Legbar varieties lay white or cream eggs.
Excellent foragers that do well ranging. The single comb can take frostbite in a hard freeze, so cold-winter keepers should watch it. Some strains are flighty, so fence accordingly.
