California White
A production cross with no breed standard. Chicks hatched from these birds will vary from their parents.
A California Grey x White Leghorn hybrid, white with scattered black flecks. It outlays most pure breeds and takes confinement and cold better than its Leghorn parent. You see them in small commercial flocks and backyard flocks alike.
Unfussy birds that lay well in most climates. Give them calcium and 14-16 hours of light and they will keep laying through winter.
