Breda
A Dutch table fowl with no comb at all, just smooth skin and wide cavernous nostrils that give the face a raptor cast. The Dutch call it Kraaikop, crow head. Vulture hocks and lightly feathered legs finish the outline. Old paintings show the type well before 1800.
No comb means nothing to frostbite, a real advantage in a wet cold snap. Quiet birds that bear confinement and handle well. The hock feathering picks up mud, so keep the run drained. Slow to mature into their full frame.
