Belgian d'Anvers

Also known as: Barbu d'Anvers, Antwerp Belgian, Quail d'Anvers

Bearded true bantam from Antwerp with a rose comb, clean legs, and a proud chesty carriage. The Quail color variety is the classic one. Europe has documented the breed longer than almost any other bantam.

Keeper's notes

The rose comb handles cold better than most bantam combs, so it winters well in a dry coop. Cocky little males need supervision in mixed flocks.
