Aseel
Ancient Indian game breed that may be the oldest fighting fowl line anywhere, and an ancestor of the Cornish. Dense muscle, pea comb, upright carriage. The birds show no fear. Hens lay few eggs and brood their clutches devotedly.
You cannot run them as a flock past adolescence. Even the hens fight. House pairs or trios in strong pens. The tight feathering carries little insulation, so give them warm dry quarters through a cold wet winter.
