American Game

Also known as: American Gamefowl

American gamefowl landrace descended from Old English, Irish, and Oriental game bloodlines. Hard-feathered birds that live a long time and range for themselves. Today they are kept for exhibition and brood stock, and by people working to preserve the line.

Keeper's notes

Separate stags and cocks by maturity. There is no working around that one. Hens brood well and range hard on very little feed.
