Ameraucana
American breed standardized in the 1980s from Araucana-descended stock to lay blue eggs without the lethal tufted gene. Has muffs, a beard, a pea comb, and slate legs. Recognized varieties include Black, Blue, Wheaten, and Lavender.
Small pea comb, so frostbite stays rare even where winters run cold and damp. Plenty of hatchery birds sold as Ameraucanas are Easter Eggers. Buy from breeders if you want true stock.
